We're having an awesome summer vacation. It has been tough being mom full-time again, especially with Patrick travelling, but has helped me put my priorities back where they should be. We had a really memorable day today at the beach south of Half Moon Bay. We snuck Chobe in for her 5th birthday since California, for all of its liberal open-mindedness, allowed some nazi schmucks ruin the beaches for dogs. In any case, after a delightful day, driving back home on highway one, listening to Bill Withers (sp?) sing... "just one look at you, i know it's gonna be a lovely day... "
