The other night, Declan and I were sitting in his bed getting ready to read his book. As I started to cuddle with him, he openned the book, and started to sound out the letters and began reading. At first, I was impressed in a different way, thinking, wow, Declan has a really good memory for this book (as he does have an incredible memory). But then I realized we hadn't read this book in a long time and he really was reading! I was incredibly proud of him.
