Ellie's growing up too fast.

Ellie lost her second tooth yesterday while eating sushi at Fukisushi yesterday. It was pretty gross to see blood drooling from her unagi sushi. But she didn't care -- these are proud moments for any kid.

In the evening, I snuck into her room and tucked a note and dollar under her pillow (one of the great moments for a mom). The next morning, Ellie burst into our room reading her note from the tooth fairy and eagerly waving her buck. She remarked, "hey mom, the tooth fairy writes just like you!" I'll need to work on that.

On another topic, Ellie saw me plucking some eyebrows one night and started to rub my back. She said, "oh, Mommy, do you have splinters in your eyebrows?"
